Cocoon
Cocoon is quite a special piece of furniture and difficult to describe!
It has soft, futurist shapes; and - like the caterpillar pupating and being transformed into a beautiful butterfly – the Cocoon is the break of the busy weekday. Seated in the Cocoon you are shielded against the noise and pulse around you. And should it get too quiet, you just switch on your Smartphone/Smartpad and let your favorite music flow out through the built-in Bluetooth loudspeakers, so as you can of course adjust the LED lights in the top of the furniture.

In addition to its sophisticated appearance, Cocoon also has many applications and functions. The shielding piece of furniture creates a “room within the room” where the user is secluded visually and sonically from all surrounding activities. In Cocoon, you can rest, read, work, listen to music or make calls in peace.
The chair is being used in a number of educational institutions, libraries, psychiatric and dementia treatment clinics, as well as privately held coorporations both locally and abroad.
Cocoon won the price of Best product Design in New York, 2015.

Det har bløde, futuristiske former; ligesom larven i sin puppe, der bliver omdannet til en smuk sommerfugl. Cocoon er pausen i den travle hverdag. Siddende i Cocoon er du beskyttet mod støj og pulsen omkring dig. Skulle der blive for stille, kan du tænde din Smartphone / Smartpad og lad din yndlingsmusik flyde ud gennem den indbyggede Bluetooth højttalere, så du kan naturligvis justere LED-lys i toppen af møblet.

Ud over sit sofistikerede udseende har Cocoon også mange applikationer og funktioner. Det afskærmende møbel skaber et "rum i rummet", hvor brugeren visuelt og lydmæssigt er afsondret fra alle omgivende aktiviteter. I Cocoon kan du hvile, læse, arbejde, lytte til musik eller foretage opkald i fred.
Stolen anvendes på en lang række uddannelsesinstitutioner, biblioteker, psykiatriske og demensbehandlingsklinikker, samt privatejede virksomheder i både ind- og udland.
